In the late 90’s I moved from Atlanta to Durham after living in New England, the South Pacific, and Germany. As a serial renovator I’ve lived in a variety of housing types, and neighborhoods, and now reside in a late 60’s home in Duke Forest. I think one of the best things about Durham is that it is only 3 hours from one of the oldest and prettiest mountain ranges in the world, AND the most stunning beaches in America. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
